As usual I got to RCTN and found a sub topic I could add my 2 cents to over and done. (sigh)
This time I'll start another thread and spend those 2 cents :^}

If that is the book I'm thinking of - the one I can't find anymore- It Has a butterfly afghan worked in the afghan stitch. Get yourself some large bobbins and try it. It turned out beautifully for me. After a few years on the back of our couch I gave it to my daughter.
Yep that is the book, quite a large butterfly. That one does not call me as much as the alphabet one. Grandkids-you know.
DH gets quite a giggle when I get down in the middle of the floor to untwist the balls/bobbins of yarn. It's worth it though, when you're done you're done.
Not about the charts, but I was in my LKS today, and they actually had Afghan hooks - in a handful of sizes. I know someone was looking....Anyhow, I frequent, and I do mean frequent, Uniquities in Vienna, VA (suburb of DC). If anyone is still searching, I saw F,G,H, hanging on the peg. Don't think they were very expensive - a few dollars. Boy, those are long!

Because there aren't many people doing it anymore, this store probably doesn't stock many sizes. Most hooks come in different lengths, as well.
