Would customs agents regard bees as an unregistered weapon? What a way to camouflage contraband!

That's good information to have. Luckily this one is under the cement slab floor of the garage. The crack they are getting in through is in the footing that the gravel was spread in before the cement was poured. I have no idea how big a space they have found inside to make their hive. They were still active today. The holes in the ground that some were going into are now closed over. DH thought I did that...yah right, fat chance I'd get that close! So it seems at least some of them have gone underground for winter. It will be interesting to observe them next spring....from a distance!
