glaze freeware

Some time ago someone asked me to include a print function on the little glaze program I have. Well I finally got around to it.

This is a simplified version of a glaze analysis program for those who want to dip their toes. It only works for PCs. For those who want the real thing go to (you really should move up to those software programs if you decide this is what you like - they have ones you can download and try out).

If you want a copy of the freeware email me at snipped-for-privacy@hotmail.com

Be sure to put Glaze in the subject line or it will get put in junk mail.

GlazeChem is also a good, easy to use program for $35. I am still a novice but I find the program very good for me. It does everything I want plus a LOT more that I am sure I will grow into. Some of the others are just too complicated for my use or comprehension.

That is a very good price. One of the reasons I made my program is that I wanted something far more simple than what was out there until I understood what it was I was doing. The reason I recommend the 'real' ones after you have played around with what I did is that you really want to know expansion and other things that my program does not have.

Right now I'm frantically debugging. I am hoping the program I sent out is fine (what it had been based on was but then I went tweaking and I lost track of what was 'good' and what was 'bad'). Having said that, if you have a program that is not clearing the cells properly or saving files that have been changed properly, please let me know. If you want a replacement, I have one that I think is a 'good' one at this time.
