I have made several attempts to glue glass tops to my clay body with poor results. I used two part epoxy, and regular household goop, I made sure the top of the piece was unglazed (sanded a little for adherence) and still the tops eventually fell off. I think this is a really cool look, I have seen other potters accomplish it, I want to do it right this time, (even glue a piece inside the glass to extend the design through) does anyone used glue with positive results????/

Have you tried regular clear silicone caulking adhesive? I've glued glass shelves to glazed tiles with it in my shower, and it's held up for five years so far, and help all the shampoos, etc. with no trouble. A glass installer gave me that tip. The trick is finding one that stays flexible, hence the silicone variety. Wayne Seidl
Cindy: I'm not sure that you would want to put goblets in the dishwasher. Might be better to make them "hand wash only". Issues with glaze durability come to mind. Good luck, and Happy Holidays! Wayne Seidl
The trick is to maintain it in place with Duct tape or similar for about
