a confirmed 'non- address'

A buyer paid with PayPal and the address in the email receipt is as follows (names changed of course)

Jane Doe's CONFIRMED Address

-----------------------------------

JOHN SMITH THIS IS A GIFT I WILL MAIL THE INFO, OR 00000 United States

She did send me a shipping address but doenst PayPal require a real address to be associated with the account? And I suppose if the item never reaches the destination I wouldnt be covered by the Seller Protection because I didnt ship to the confirmed address.

Sorry folks!! Wrong group!

That's ok, jj, thanks for correcting your entry. But, thanks for sharing your story, since many of us on this ng use PayPal. Just goes to show you that PayPal just checks to see that the address is filled in, but does not validate the information.
