Here is the latest in the Shoulder Bag marathon. It is a Log Cabin Pattern I did to match the Purse of the same pattern, that my wife has confiscated. I had planned to keep this one for myself, but your know how it goes. I am weak, and she did make me a wonderful Birthday dinner, (Cheese Soufle'), with a really great Apple Pie, for dessert. This is My favorite dessert. Yum-Yum! This one is a Shoulder/Computer Bag with three interior pockets, and none on the outside. The size is 16" tall x 14 " wide x 3" deep. The strap is padded, and the whole underlying fabric is sturdy black canvas. I think I have finally master the art/craft of sewing these things on a domestic machine. No broken needles, or scratched and dented needle plates, and no swearing. This is going to be it for awhile, as I now head down to the wood shop and do another Treadle conversion, so I have 2 treadles ready and waiting. It is nice to have two machines set up for different elements of the sewing job, and not have to swap out needles, and other things. I picked up another set of treadle conversion parts from my dealer, and I already have the cabinet made, which was being used as a base for the electric machine. The second thing I am going to do is make a portable case for the Electric machine, with all the various compartments to house the accessories. That one should be fun. I will post pictures when they are finished. Here are the pics:
