A PSA from a freemotioning fiend

I've been re-reading all my books and magazine articles on free motion quilting. I've found that quite a few articles will remind you to breathe while you are FMing. I have another tip to add to that: Don't forget to blink at least once every ten minutes or so. You can even stop your sm with the needle down, blink and then resume your quilting. You're welcome. ;-)))

I was quilting and munching and set down half of a chocolate cookie on the table in front of my sm. Got sewing away and it disappeared some where in the quilt??? I couldn't find it for anything. So I called sweet Missy over. She found that cookie in one second flat. Missy saves the day and the quilt from chocolate stains! What a gal..... errrrr dog! LOL

Here's another valuable tip- unless you've slept all day, if you are going to FM after midnight use water soluble thread in your bobbin. It'll save you a lot of time- and wear and tear on your seam ripper. Don't ask..... and stop giggling!!!

Sorry, hard to stop giggling after advice like that! Good advice though! Roberta in D
