Thank you Kate, I had a look at this site and it is great. Very inspirational.

So is it a reliable site to subscribe to? (Barely avoided getting burned by Quilters Corner Club.)

Yes -- I have been a member for a couple of years.... and have been quite pleased. The site is always up... and the downloads always available. The patterns are somewhat "simple" in design - -but if that is what you are after... I think it is a good resource.

Yeah, I'm into simple appliqué at this point since I really haven't done much. I've done raw edge ala Pat Sloan. I do well with her big smooth curves. I really MUST learn hand appliqué though for those smaller pieces and the details. I've got the Piece o' Cake DVD and books. Just need some time -- not this weekend with report cards due.

Thanks for the reassurance of the site's integrity. Joining is so inexpensive.

I've belonged for quite a few years also. I enjoy it and even if there's only one or two patterns that I really like, it's well worth the money. You can download them in adobe format and save them for future use (and print out one picture of the block/quilt/WUH to put in a notebook so you can recall what they look like - I suffer from "CRS" disease ME-Judy

Thank you! I'm thinking I'd enjoy the clipart too. I wait until after payday. I've blown all my quilting budget this month. Luckily payday is the 22nd of each month, so I can start playing next weekend. (No distractions to keep me from filling out those report cards this weekend.)

Are there really enough changes each year to keep joining?

When I joined before I did get a little bored but some of the items are just great. The horse design was the favorite of mine - my granddaughter fell in love with it. Every month they add a least one new design and it is a good source for quick and nice applique patterns that you can do either by machine or hand applique. I have now rejoined. Bonnie NJ

I figured it's probably a good deal since I can download what I want each month and it only averages out to $1.25 per month.

At that rate, I'll try it out for a year.
