More than self-indulgence this time: together with photos of the smaller version of this quilt, the pattern for Beyond Beginners is up on my blog

Apparently, the facebook group for RCTQ is either a. not accepting new members b. not accepting ME c. not responding to requests to join so I'm not able to catch up with those who've 'gone over to the dark side' of social networking. I'll just hang out here with those who are left and hope there's a little more activity when it rains! Thanks to those of you who've typed into the void: I admit I was looking forward to the old chatter, and was disappointed to find mostly spam. phooey.

What a cute pattern. I've been making small quilts for the preemie babies at the hospital and this would be the perfect size. Thanks!

You know, you just popped back at the wrong time. We haven't even had spam until recently and there had been more chatter. Hopefully the spam will die down and the quilting fun will pick up soon.

Kim, I'm like crazy Aunt Hattie over at fb. Mostly I have no clue how things work or don't work - but I have not seen your request mentioned. I don't suppose you were named as the 'other woman' in a quilter's divorce proceeding . . . or were you? Polly

nope...the man I have is more than enough for me, especially since I've got him full time now he's retired. [And I thought I had too many projects on the go....he's like a crow: "oooh, shiny!"]

So pretty! I've only just noticed the 8-point stars in the sashing, really makes it pop.

Took a few days for the fb rctq adm>More than self-indulgence this time: together with photos of the smaller

Mine is like that already (with the house full of "stuff" to prove it) and many years till retirement. I hate to think that it could get worse......

He "claims" it's getting better...what actually happens is he starts working on one thing, then something else catches his eye and, "oooh shiny" off he goes! It's really fun to watch: like a little kid in the playground. He's having such a good time working at not working.

At least there's no danger of him being bored or following me around like some retirees!

You can make your photos public on facebook. Then you get a link you can share with anyone, even those who are not on facebook.

I haven't done much quilty stuff lately, but have a few pictures at You shouldn't have to be on facebook to see the pictures.
