I think I showed you part of one of the projects from my trip to quilt camp this summer, but now I've finished the quilt top. It's a Lone Star variation, with NYB blocks filling all of the diamond shapes, designed by Deb Karasik. The quilt pattern showed it squared off before adding the border, but I decided to keep it octagonal. That meant completely redrafting the borders, which I accomplished in EQ6 with lots of help from Patti Anderson and Barb Vlack -- both EQ6 experts, to put it mildly. I'm now trying to decide how to quilt this one -- deciding on that is always a difficult part of quilt-making for me! The third photo down the page at will show you the top.

Sandy, I wanted to comment on how lovely your AZ Sunrise top is... but everybody else has used all the descriptive words that *I* wanted to use! So I'll just say that you have done it again- as ALWAYS...... LOVE it!

Wow, Sandy, I love it! If it needs a home after you finish, I'll be glad to take it in! That's a great color scheme, and I really like the idea of keeping it as an octagon shape. Thanks for sharing. I'll try to stop drooling but it's really hard!
