All eight corners, that is. My latest quilt started out as a paper-pieced pattern in a class with Deb Karasik (of Quilt Mavens fame). I decided not to make it square, so it's octagonal. The machine quilting was inspired by a class called Dancing Feathers from Sharon Schamber. Both of these classes were last July at Quilt Camp in the Pines.
The quilt may be finished, but I think I'm going to have to move the hanging sleeve closer to the top so that said top doesn't flop over in disgust. :S That will have to wait, though, until I've finished a baby quilt I've just found out I need to make; it's for a former student (one of my favorites, of course ).
If you'd like to see the octagonal quilt (now called Spiked Desert Star), it's at .
