Another happy dance! :)

This makes three of my four camp projects finished! Yay! I've just finished my Gazebo quilt and posted its picture on , right at the bottom. It's from a class given by Pam Holland, who also taught the class that led to Cabo San Lucas, right above Gazebo. The center portion has a machine appliquéed gazebo, and all of the plants and pots are drawn on -- this avoids having to appliqué those tiny pieces! Now if I can just get inspired to finish my Cynthia England pictorial quilt...those tiny pieces are giving me nightmares, so I haven't touched it in weeks! LOL!

Great work Sandy!!! Your Cabo San Lucas looks so real. It's always graet to learn something new

You must be thrilled with both these hangings Sandi, I love the scene and put my hand up if it needs a new home at any time. I tried to send a message to you last week but the mail bounced, I'd had a revelation about the organiser of the old swap I mentioned it was the 'other Sandi' in the group........solved at last. Isn't it great to see so much sewing being done within the group! Cheers Sally in Tassie

Great work Sandy. I love the rock wall effect.

I was only reading about Pam Holland this morning !

I like that a lot! I don't know if I could do anything like it, though - my drawing skills leave a lot to be desired!

Congratulations, Sandy, that is lovely. Dancing in the moonlight for ya!

Wow, very nice Sandy! I've never heard of "drapplique" . Thank you for sharing.

Arr, Matey! Ye certainly have a Flair (pen) for this sort of thing!

LOL! Thanks, Wendy -- er...Capn! And you have a flair for words, too!

Thanks, Roberta! I do love my new SM!

Thanks, Louise! But the plants and pots were *traced* from Pam Holland's pattern. I'm no artist, which is why this quilt and my Cabo San Lucas were such a stretch for me. :)

Thanks, Dee. :) What a coincidence, eh? If you get a chance to take a class from her, jump at it! She's such fun. :)

Thanks, Sally! I'm pretty pleased, since I was sort of terrified going into the classes. LOL! I can't imagine why the message bounced, though

-- nothing has changed recently. I wanted to write you about the finished pieces, but I'd lost your addy! :S
