Oh Sandy, that is so lovely. The bubbly filler stitch is wonderful; and no evidence of a facing at all. Hugely well done. I bet you will do facing again! Doesn't it give a beautiful finish? Love the quilting, especially the bubble area. I love dimensional flowers as well. They are fun to add here and there on some quilts.

By the way, are you enjoying your spring break this week or later? Sadly mine is almost over. Trying to finish up two very small paper-pieced pieces today for Birthday gifts in April. Will post pictures soon I hope.

At any rate, I've now finished the little quilt I began last summer at camp when I was learning Sharon Schamber's turned-edge machine appliqué method. I took that class in order to learn a way to make that dragon I recently finished. Now the class piece is also finished, and I've posted pics at . I loved quilting this one! I used lots of feathers -- my favorite motif. The little bunches of flowers are dimensional; DH loves them. Oh, and I didn't have enough fabric for a binding, so I tried a facing instead -- with our Pat on the Hill's encouragement. :) I think that facing came out rather well; IOW, you can't see it. LOL!

Oh now I see the red bottom on the vase....I think that's wide enough. tee hee.
