I have to admit that I do like the effect from the facing -- or is that a "non-effect"? Judy, thanks so much! :) As for whether you'd ever be able to do this sort of thing, never say "never". Take lots of lessons from different teachers until you find the one(s) you "click" with, practice lots, and have fun. :)

Thanks, Sandy. :) I don't think I'd mind jury duty as much as I do if I weren't the only one I know who has it as often as I do. DH has only had it twice in the time we've lived here, most of my friends have had it once or twice in much longer than we've lived here, some of my friends have never had it. It's sort of frustrating to get it almost every year, though I know we need jurors for our process to work.

Another GORGEOUS project! The quilting is outstanding--as usual. I hope one year my quilting will be 1/3 as good as yours!
