Thanks so much, Steve. :) I'm enjoying my "permanent spring break" these days, as I've been retired for almost ten years now. :D I can't wait to see the pics of what you're making -- I love your stuff. :)
Thanks so much, Polly. You always make me smile, whether because of your humor or because of your kindness. :)
I have to admit that I do like the effect from the facing -- or is that a "non-effect"? Thanks for the compliment; I do like to machine quilt, once I've agonized over what I'm going to do. ;) I really appreciate all of the tips you gave me on how to do the facing -- you are unfailingly generous! :)
Thanks, Mary. :)
Love the bubbles!
I need to pratice a whole lot more.

Sandy, it's gorgeous and Spring-y and just right. Your machine quilting is incredible.
Sunny
Judy, thanks so much! :) As for whether you'd ever be able to do this sort of thing, never say "never". Take lots of lessons from different teachers until you find the one(s) you "click" with, practice lots, and have fun. :)
Thanks so much, Sunny. :)
Thanks, Joan. :)
Howdy!
Elegantly lovely quilt, Sandy.
Jury duty: good for you.
Quilt handwork: my favorite. ;-)
Cheers! R/Sandy
Thanks, Sandy. :) I don't think I'd mind jury duty as much as I do if I weren't the only one I know who has it as often as I do. DH has only had it twice in the time we've lived here, most of my friends have had it once or twice in much longer than we've lived here, some of my friends have never had it. It's sort of frustrating to get it almost every year, though I know we need jurors for our process to work.
Another GORGEOUS project! The quilting is outstanding--as usual. I hope one year my quilting will be 1/3 as good as yours!
Best regards, Michelle in NV
I just got a chance to go over and look at your beautiful little quilt Sandy. You did a great job on that. You are an inspiration for anyone working on their machine quilting! Thanks for always sharing and inspiring us all. Taria
Thanks so much, Taria. You're making me blush.
Thanks, Michelle! I've been working on my machine quilting for many years, but I think the classes I've taken -- especially the ones lately with Sharon Schamber -- have really helped. :)
It's beautiful, Sandy! And your quilting is awesome!!
Thanks so much, Donna. :)
