She's a former student of mine from when I was a French teacher in Arizona, and she moved here at about the same time as we did and has stayed in touch for all this time. She was always one of my very favorites; I don't make quilts for just any student, after all. ;)

They got it from a Christian website that looks for the tackiest examples of commercialization of religion they can find. This one is a nativity scene where Virgin & Child, Joseph, three wise men and two shepherds were all ducks.

There's a Christmas quilt in there somewhere...
