according to her last post (on the 4th) on facebook, baby was due on the

Wow - I was actually pinged - I am honored! Yes, we have baby! See message posted today. August has been one big whirlwind so far. Waiting for the baby, celebrating my DGS's 5th birthday, new baby coming on the 12th - a day before my DH's birthday and my mother going into the hospital for shortness of breath on the same day. Everyone is fine. Mom was supposed to go to a rehab facility but signed herself out after being there for less than an hour. She's been there before and really liked it. She is really being ornery these last 10 days and is getting everyone really frustrated since there is little we can do. I am too tired right now to expand on that story but I will at a later date. Oh, and DH was travelling all week so was away for his birthday.
The new baby is so tiny - she is a decent size at 6 pounds 8 ounces, but she just seems so little. It's amazing how something so little can consume your entire world!
