OK, I looked at the pdf file of instructions. The cut binding strip is
2" wide (where it shows how to jo>>Howdy!
Looks like more trouble than I'd put into mitering the corners for binding. That skinny binding on a small piece would be okay, but I want something more in proportion to the top on a bigger quilt.

When I make binding, I allow the MINIMUM of 12" extra on a twin quilt, more on large quilts. That is insurance for the situation you mention. It allows me to remove the offending seam, stitch the seam in a more convenient place, and continue. I do not like this as one is dealing with the bulk of the quilt, but it is do-able. To AVOID this situation, lay the binding around the quilt and check. For more on this award winning quilt binding tip, go to
