Hi I am going to teach two workshops on photo-to-fabric in the course of the next month, and I would like to include a list of litterature for further study and more ideas on this topic. There are no Norwegian books on this subject as far as I know, but I have the impression that there are lots of books in English, and since many of the students read and understand English, I thought I might recommend some of these. I am familiar with Jean Ray Laury's "Imagery on Fabric", and "The Quilter's Computer Companion" by Judy Heim and Gloria Hansen, they are both on my shelf, but I know there are lots more.
I would like to group the books in two categories:
1 Books presenting ideas for the use of photos in quilts, and projects for beginners to intermediate.
2 Books discussing various methods of transfering photos to fabrics, and/or which encourage the use of photos in an artistic way.
Any recommendations for any of these categories?
Do I need more categories?
