Congrats to Tutu

Hi Everyone

Five of us drove down from New Westminster today [suburb of Vancouver] to La Conner to check out the Dear Jane display at the Quilt Museum.

There are some gorgeous example of Dear Jane quilts. A friend pointed out that two of the quilts on adjacent walls were made by the same South African quilter. One was in blue and white and the other in brown and white prints.

I didn't read the name cards, but thought they were very lovely and wished I'd brought my digital camera along to take pictures.

Long story short, tonight when I was reading through the program I realized they were Tutu's Quilts. Girl you did a wonderful job tackling not one but two of them I recalled that you had done the blue one, but don't remember any discussion about the brown and white one. Well done, take a bow.

If anyone in Washington, Oregon, or B.C. get a chance to visit the museum, get there before December 31st. It's open Fri, Sat and Sun the remainder of the month.

Thank you Tutu for the pictures. They are magnificent. I can't believe you made two Dear Jane quilts. Wow, that is quite the undertaking. I also took a sneak peak at the wedding photos. Nice wedding!

But I did, just now, I didn't know until I got home and read the brochure! At least you can come up for another visit before they go! But hurry, they leave on the 31st!

Thanks for sharing the website Tutu, I'm going to forward it to the friends who made the trip with me. Was the brown one your second all time quilt?
