Dratted coat hangers!

They are an invention of the devil and a force of evil in the world. No getting round it. *AND* the blighters breed when you stop watching them...

A couple of months back I lost my loop turner gadget: a thing like a long stiff wire with a finger loop at one end and a tiny latched hook at the other. I hunted high and low for the blessed thing, but it seemed to have vanished off the face of the earth... Well, last night i emptied the coat hanger box, as I was tired of the damned things leaping out an nipping at me as I passed or as I moved it from place to place. Guess what was in the bottom, beside the dead spider and the out of date dust bunnies? YUP! THE LOOP TURNER! I swear those coat hangers had kidnapped it!

I NEEDED that thing, so now I have two! Any one need a few loops turned?

You'd better keep'em both, that way you'll have at least one (or they'll have to work harder to hide from you, anyway). Get down to just one and you KNOW it'll run off again.

I've misplaced mine recently, but I don't think our coathangers kidnapped mine as it goes no where near them! I still don't know where mine has got to, haven't looked recently, but when I did need it last time I used a safety pin to turn the loop I was lucky it wasn't a really fine bit of stuff I was turning.

I think I shall do that. Maybe the loop turners will get together in the drawer and breed! :)

I looked all over the house: I had DH and the lad looking also. We just about turned everything upside down and inside out, but no-one thought of the coat hanger box, so next time something small goes walkabout, I shall look there FIRST!
