Hi all,

My latest project - a cushion for my sister for Christmas.

three plain borders to make it the right size for the insert besuitable - Say, Tan, Beige and Dark Brown - be OK? Thanks for your input.

Well, Di, you don't tell us much. I don't know where the cushion is going to live or what your options are. Assuming that my monitor is fairly accurate, I see a bit of dark red in two of your prints. Do you want drama? A border of dark red might enhance your creation. Probably the fastest solution would be to conduct auditions. Talk to your cushsion and see which one says, "Yes!". Polly

What about a very narrow piping strip in red, then the brown, then red binding? If you make a fat double-fold binding, it looks like a corded edge. Just sew the top and back together wrong sides together, and bind over the raw edge. Roberta in D

Very striking, Di. I agree with the others that bringing out the dark red would be my choice.

I like the red idea, however without seeig the whole project it is hard to get my mind around it.
