I will have the pleasure to visit the U.S. again this year ( imagine some happy dancing here :-)) ), we will stay some days near Hartford, ct. HI there. I lived in CT for years, right outside of Hartford. Depending on your traveling abilities, one shop I would highly recommend is an hour away in Willimantic CT... Quilters Dream. NAYY.. a Victorian house full of fabric. Another... an hour north is in Greenfield Mass.... just traveling up Route 91, it is an easy commute....a huge barn called Greefield Textile Mill.
There is also a lovely shop in Vernon Ct... about 20 minutes away from Hartford. Because CT and MA are small states, you might want to print out shops in MA also. Feel free to contact me personally...if I can help I will... when are you going< hugs Memere Neets
