How very, very lovely. What do you mean, have enough? How can anyone ever have enough stars? lol

LOOKS GRAND!
Can't wait to see your finished quilt!
It'll have to be just gorgeous -- seeing that it will be mostly maize and blue! (the colors of the University of Michigan)
Of course I just had to go touring around and check out your baby quilts. The stars, moon and owl (?) quilt picture is not sharp enough on my monitor to be sure it is owls . . . but aha! I found what must be the same block over at your potholders file. How precious. How delightful. I'm wondering if you might be interested in a slight variance. Take the round black circles that are in the eyes and place them both so that they touch the bottom of the white circle and your owl will be looking down. Place them both to the right or left and the owl will be looking left or right. For a rather goofy-looking owl you can set them at the bottom and in slightly toward each other. No, I don't play with my food but I do like to have fun with the creature faces on the crib quilts. Polly
gorgeous collection of stars for sure. however do you decide on a layout for all those? boing boing, jeanne
Loved seeing them all. I'm still waiting for mine to get here. You managed to get three of my rejected over-sized stars!
this sure sounds like fun, will try it next time :-) The baby quilt went to a now six-year old boy whose lastname is the German word for screech-owl...oh and I didn't give credit to the patternmaker, I still haven't added any texts to the photos. the owls are from Susie Lacombe's book Patchworkfor kids. Probably small sashing ( blue ) and stars set on point. And I'll try to find a fabric for a border. We will be in quilters paradise ( U.S. ) again this year, so this is already on my shopping list :-)) Heidi from Germany "nzlstar*" schrieb:
Yes I have to admit, it can be addicting :-)) Heidi from Germany "Karen, Queen of Squishies" schrieb:
