figured out webshots, I think!!!

I don't post very often, but I do read all posts almost everyday. I enjoy them, find myself laughing out loud on many occasions. You would think from reading them that you are all friends from the same guild, not just cyber friends. That is what keeps me reading, just never sure where to jump in. So this was my thought, I will share some of my work now that I have started getting my pics organized on Webshots. I don't really have any physical quilting friends where I live so it's hard to get an educated honest opinion from my family, they love my work but what do they really know about quilting except for what I tell them. Anyway, my hope is that you will take a look at my pics, enjoy them and give me your honest opinion about what you see. I don't have photos of my older work, so there are a lot of one project I'm working on at the moment, maybe too many!

Sorry, I haven't quite figured out how to create a link, you know the blue font that allows you to go directly to the site. I am definitely in need of some basic internet knowledge.

I should have guessed. I just looked again and they are 8 pointed flakes which always seems to happen with paper snowflakes. I haven't tried needleturn applique yet. I just baste the pieces and stitch them down with tiny hand stitches, or I use the machine satin stitch.

I'm working on the RCTQ Block of the Month applique blocks this year because I enjoy applique more than piecing. I haven't had time to finish the two versions I'm doing of the June block because I just started a new job and now I have a lot less free time. I'll get caught up when the job becomes more routine. Your snowflakes make me want to do a similar quilt in the future. Maybe I'll get to it someday, after the three other quilts I already have started.
