Flu update

I woke up this morning absolutely damp with perspiration. My fever broke during the night! Now I know why they used to put sick people to bed with plenty of blankets and a hot rock or hot bag of salt at their feet. Seems electric blankets and cuddly cats work in much the same way.

After so many years spent in relative freedom from illness, I had forgotten that when a fever breaks I feel completely reborn. After a hot shower and two cups of coffee, I feel like a new woman.

Thank you all for your kind thoughts and advice, and thank Heaven this bout lasted only two days.

Now I can get back to machine quilting, and enjoy the weekend.

OK, it looks like I received this at 7:45 this morning. It is now a little after 10 and I predict if you haven't laid back down yet, you're about to.

Maybe the bad part's over, but you've got to be wrung out. Drink plenty of liquids, you lost a bunch.

Glad you're better but take it easy.

Cindy
