I do have a request please Jeanne.

I am after a long strapped carry-all type of bag suitable for someone to take on a holiday. To put camera, wallet, keys, souvenirs etc. that would go over the head to the shoulder - does that make sense?

Thanks Jeanne.

It's not free and the strap doesn't go over the head, but you might take a look at Jenny Raymond's "Easy on the Back" bag. It is designed so that much of the weight goes on your back instead of your shoulder. I made the smaller one and it holds a lot. And it is a lot easier on the back and shoulder than a regular shoulder bag. Don't be scared by all the zippers; she makes it easy to put them in. I bought some zippers for another bag that I made later at a shoe repair shop. They sold me nice heavy, good quality zippers for the exact length I wanted at a reasonable price. They even put two pulls that met in the center on one zipper for me. When I make another of the "Easy on the Back" bags, I'll go to the shoe repair place for zippers.

Thanks for this link Julia, but it is not what my cousin would like - it would be difficult to fold up when not in use and that is what she wants.

I might make this one for my neice who loves back bags.

ok, there is one, went on sale last may i think. now as to where you'd buy it i've no idea. might take some calling round to the stores near you that handle those things. there is a wii fit, some ball/net sports, dancing. i'd think one of those might work for ya. j.

My PT'er spoke of looking at one for her kidlets--makes them dance to the music etc. She said they had asked for it but Santa was NOT about to get it this year.

Butterfly (Maybe look in the Kiddies section?)

But the point is, I _can't_ find one, locally or otherwise. DD has a possible line on one, but who the heck is doing this much exercising? I woulda thought this would be a no brainer.

DD called the local Gamestop Saturday evening and they said, "yeah, we got one copy." DD asked if they could hold it till Sunday (she was already in her jammies). They said they could only hold it till they closed that night. So she jumped in the car and drove there (about 10 minutes away). They asked her name and when she said "Jenna", the girl said, "sorry, you didn't tell us for sure you were coming and someone called right after you and here they are now".

DD was some upset, but she didn't tell them for sure she was coming and didn't give her name.

All's fair in love and Christmas shopping.

This is different. I know the one you're talking about for kids, it looks really cute. This one is Yoga.

Nope, Flutterby, I thinks I was wrong and it is the same one your friend was talking about. I went back in my sewing room last evening just after posting my reply and there was an advert on the TV for Wii Fit and kids were hopping all over the place!

_MY_ kind of sport is quilt shop shopping, so obviously the game is NOT for me! It's DD who is wanting it. Something about Yoga and snowboarding/skiing.

To tell you the truth, I stopped listening after just a little while.
