Well, just chuckling (and yeah, now snarling), Barbara ... good grief! So, I thought I'd mosey back, today (yeah, this pushed me into it), and I did the "clicking" (took me a while to get to rec ..... then crafts ... then textiles ... then quilting ..., AFTER I figured out where it WAS), and my word, there are 12,000-some messages! Asked it to download the last 500, and they fell into my regular e-mailbox!!!!
Hell, I don't NEED (or want) 500 (or even 200, which I suspect the daily posts are, now, if not more) posts, dumped into my regular e-mail account. Called Zianet, and for the first time, got a tecchie I'm not happy with. Talked down to me, was short with me ... etc etc. (you BET I'll write Zianet and complain ... I've written kudos for the tecchies, for over 10 years). "Let me look this up on Outlook." But I'm using Netscape, not Outlook. "Netscape hasn't existed for 5 years". Uh ... then why did I get Netscape (from Zianet, I might add) with the last computer, a little over a year ago? "Netscape doesn't exist. I can't tell you any more than that. I don't know how to look up Netscape." Well, could you find someone there who does? "I SAID, Netscape doesn't exist. Nobody here would know about it."
So, I thought I'd wear my shift-key finger out and delete the old RCTQ posts (some dating from 2003, which is probably right) ... but I can delete only ONE post at a time. Uh ... I don't think I wanna do that, for over 12,000 posts. OR the 500 that just showed up in my e-mail (NETSCAPE!) box.
So, mebbe I'll figure it out, Barbara. Meanwhile, I am VERY easily frustrated about this sort of thing (and yeah, still a computer-orangutan) -- so mebbe I won't.
Give everyone hugs for me, and as I said, I might be back, might not. AARRRGGGGHHHH!!!!!
