The first is an exhibit at the MET of African textiles. Wow. The second is a slide show of Sixteenth and seventeenth Century embroidery work. Wow again. I can't stop looking. Between the two I've been sitting here for more than 30 minutes, looking, pondering, searching and looking at related sites.

Oh yeah, stuff like this can keep you going for ages. I do it all the time, look up one nifty thing and end up in front of the 'puterscreen buried in books for hours. One time I looked up the Bayeux Tapestry, and I am still looking reading and cross refrencing as a result.
