Here is a view of the "winter weight" quilt that I just finished. Itis the perennial favorite, 9 Patch. The particulars are 92" x92" andit is shown, in place, on the bed with the Clown quilt, in place atthe foot of the bed. The colors are more in keeping with the colorscheme of the room and the clown quilt, witch is heavier yet, doesn'tdominate the room so much, when it is folded up at the foot of thebed. SWMBO, has requested a set of pillow shams, that match the bedquilt, so I guess my job is not quite finished. I have 2 more quiltsin the pipeline to do, and a couple of woodworking projects, so my cupamok. I am glad to be back in the game, after a few weeks of medicallyinduced inactivity, and I am raring to go at the machine. Hope youlike this latest offering. I am very happy with the way it turned out

I agree with Elly - a Medallion quilt will suit you down to the ground. See if you can find Jinny Beyer's marvellous book. A friend kindly sent me a copy; as, when I last looked, it was out of print. I'm sure there are others around; but I think the setting up of a medallion will really appeal to you.

John, your quilt is absolutely gorgeous. Great job! I love it when men quilt... have you ever visited Joe Cunningham's website? He's in California. "Joe the Quilter."
