I have purchased some 'label fabric' which is sold with quilting fabric. I choose a label I like (color, motif, frame style, etc) and then personalize it. I use a Pigma Pen to add at the minimum: To and From, My Town, Date. Sometimes I add a Title of the Quilt, and/or the Pattern ("Chains of Hope" Double Irish Chain Quilt, Blah Blab) and maybe a personal message (with love on your birthday!) I usually 'line' this with natural muslin and appliqué to the quilt. HTH. PAT in VA/USA
