Tell me about Anne George. I just checked her out at Amazon & it looks like she is a mystery writer. I'm just reading the 3rd in a series of books by James Patterson - 1st To Kill, 2nd Chance, etc. A friend leant them to me & they are very good & a quick read. I'm also hooked on the Stephanie Plum mysteries. I've only read the 1st one, but can't wait to get back to them. I'm always looking for good books to read!

I learned about Anne George from the Pat Sloan Good Book Cafe Yahoo Group. I'm reading Murder on a Bad Hair Day right now. I think it is the second in the series. The books are hysterical! the main characters are two older (my age) Southern lady sisters who get themselves into fixes and try to solve murders. One is even a retired school teacher! (I'm not retired yet.) Anne George died a few months back, and I think someone is trying to figure out who could do the writing to continue the series.

Now don't get me started on Stephanie Plum!! I want to make a Ranger quilt -- all blacks of varying textures and weights. (Antonio Banderas would make a great Ranger!) I have read all the books and I'm on hold at the library for the latest in-between-numbers book.

I'll have to try James Patterson. I just found out a couple of days ago that Monica Ferris has new books out -- murder mysteries revolving around the owner of a needlecraft shop.

Thanks for your comments on the website. I took a couple of online classes through my job last year. That helped me try to design a little more sleekly rather than glitzy. I hadn't taught HTML since 1995. Not much changed, but there are lots more design tips out there now.
