Ya know, I was just wondering where the heck I was going to find a cabinet for that little beauty.... lol. By the way, that was my first purchase EVER on Ebay. Oh NO! Please don't! I've never liked my name. In the work I did it was ALWAYS assumed I was male. I do not like having a name that 'goes both ways'. I'd change it if I could find a name I preferred and if I could stick with one name for a while. I keep changing my mind about what to change it to. Well, I happen to like the name Leslie. There are really LOTS of names that go both ways. Pat is one. Off the top of my head: Casey, Lee, Lou, Alex, Terry, Gerry, Jo/Joe, Marian/Marion, Matty, Jackie, Mickie, Nicky, Stacey, Tracy, Kelly, Taylor, Tyler, Madison, (and all the other surnames now currently trendy) .... whew! BTW: it is even okay NOT to name the SM!. ;)

And I've known several male Sandys, too! One of my DDs is named Allison, and I was once asked if it was a family name, since "it's a man's name".

There are few others names taria around. No men that I have found but there seems to be a character or something related to some kind of 'deviant art'. Isn't that just crummy? I think being a male Allison would be pretty awful. Allison to me is a pretty, feminine name. Geez. Taria

Hey Leslie, I know exactly how you feel! My name is also capable of going 'both ways' and has caused some confusion at times. For what it's worth, I would always think of a Leslie as a female and be surprised if it turned out to be a male.

Pat, there are a few names you listed that are definitely not 'both way' names down here. Tracey, Stacey and I think Kelly are only female names here. I don't think I've ever heard of a female Matty though. And Sandy said that a British person said Allison was a male name. Really? Have lived only in England and Australia, I've never heard of Allison as a male name.

Perhaps the man's name was the surname Allison used as a first name for a man?
