Kinda OT - Burma Shave signs

Mum solved that one. When Dad stops shaving, she says she will too. He gives in first every time lol...

Gotcha beat on that one. My hubby got out of the Air Force National Guard in 1974 and hasn't shaved off his beard since. My 30 year old son has never seen his dad without a beard.

Yeesh ... so you're saying that I have *NO* hope of ever seeing my hubby's lower face again? Or at least for 30 years?! ;)

You win!! :)

You might get to see it again if the beard starts going "bald" like Dave's did.

fwiw, i think all facial hair just makes men look 'oooooooolder'. so it they're at all interested in retaining any youthful aspects in life, tell'em to shave it all off. just my opinion. dh has a mustache (spelling looks odd to me so early in the morning, oh well) and i've mentioned the older look but he hasnt as yet shaved it off, another oh well. hmmmmm, could be he has more hair under his nose than on top, lol. yet another oh well. j.

I have never seen DH without a beard. He told me he grew it for the Parada del Sol Rodeo in 1966 and, except for a few months way back before I knew him, he has had it ever since. His hair is thinning on top, but not the beard. It does 'fork' though, when it gets long.

I missed the first posting here, but can guess the gist from the subject line.

My DH grew a beard after he retired from the military. I liked the look, but he finally shaved after getting tired of the food falling into the beard. Just be patient. : ) Lobo ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Delete the obvious to reply to me personally. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
