Isn't it wonderful 100 years later we can chat about whether we like top loaders or front loaders and which brands are best? I am glad my laundry area is more modern:

Isn't that true! I recently purchased my first front loader (AEG) and I'm in love with it, in fact I love doing the washing now (not the ironing - but that is so much better with many less wrinkles and cleaner wash). Only a 2 person household, so not a mammoth task!
