Home from London...

... and nearly 500 messages NOT read!! (I am sure I never will read everyone, so if some of you has asked me about something, please mail me! ;-)

(LOOOONG...) We had marwellous weather saturday and sunday, a bit more cloudy on monday. Relaxing was our capital wish, so we walked a lot, watched people a lot, didn't reach the football match, but no worry, there was a TV (!!!!) And DH was happy!

Sunday morning, we watched the opening prosession for Chinese new year. Rythmic and colorful! (I have seen the finishing prosession in London earlier, so I was very glad to see this too.) Saturday night all China town was decorated with lanterns, and people everywhere.

Welcome back Aud, glad you had a good time, you certainly crammed lots in to your visit. Shame about the footie, but I should think watching on TV was a sight warmer than standing on the terraces!! DD2 was at the Chinese New Year celebrations, she just loves visiting Chinatown , mad said that the parade was wonderful. And I'm glad you went to the Tate Modern, the building on its own is so impressive before you start to look at the art. Sounds like a great trip altogether Love & higs Christine

how lovely, wish I'd payed more attention before I could have come up and met you ....never mind, glad you had a great time didn't you go on the London Eye then?? fancy the Queen not inviting you in for a cuppa have to write and complain, well don't you invite her in, next time she's visiting your area...all those dainty cucumber sandwiches her and and her mother are so fond of...apparently....and she never offered you a crumb..
