Longest Thread so far in 2006

Ok, so maybe I have too much time on my hands..? I went looking into the archives and of course totally forgot what I went looking for in the first place. I then noticed that there are some very short threads and some that go on to great lengths! Of all the ones I looked at from Jan 2006 to now, the longest threads appear to me to be:

185 in topic ***LQS Complaints--Other shoe; same foot. From:joan8904 Wed, Jun 14 2006

151 in topic ***Breast Cancer/OT From:pami Fri, Apr 28 2006

148 in topic ***third chemo From:pami Wed, Jul 5 2006

143 in topic ***OT - cold weather food and beverage questions From:Tina Mon, Feb 20 2006

131 in topic ***OT Dill Dip Recipe Wanted From:nzlstar* Mon, Jan 23 2006

So according to what I see, most talked about is *Quilting *related! yay! Second thing on our minds appears to be our *health.* and just under the health..... **FOOD!! **

I know, usless info but it amused me for a while when I had to wait for my mail lady and for a load of laundry to be done :-)

Well, I would expect nothing less from a large group of dynamic, diverse, talented and totally secure women! (I am not excluding the men here at all.......it's just that the 3 topics mentioned are almost exclusively topics women frequently enjoy - lol!) Good research, KK!

Howdy!

For me the longest thread is the one I find when I'm near the end of one side of the quilt, attaching a border, just about finished, almost there, only another inch or so to sew--- when I discover that the top or bobbin thread has run out about 6 feet ago! Now *that's* a long thread.

Ragmop/Sandy --today it was only about 5" long when I realized the bobbin was empty *sigh* thank goodness for air conditioning ;-D

OH I hate that!!! It never fails too, it is always on the last home stretch of a step when it happens too!
