Major beg

A local quilt collector has donated 40 antique quilts to Warrenville Youth and Family Services to be auctioned at a fundraising event for the organization on June 1 and 2, 2207. Of course I had to get involved. I will be giving lectures on quilt history and have arranged for my friends to give quilt technique demonstrations. We are also organizing a boutique of pre-priced items (both quilt related and other handmade items) to add to the profits.

If anyone would like to help me by donating items for the boutique I would be forever grateful. To find out more about the organization please check their web site at

Susan, dear, in June of 2207 you will need more help than any of us can give you..... LOL Wish I had something already made to donate, but I am frantically trying to get the house ready to sell before my hip surgery.... and finishing my horse-pital quilt, of course. I hope you raise lots of money for your cause.

Hi Susan....... I have several counted cross stitch pictures but most are not mounted and framed. The ones that are have glass to protect the stitching. I hate to send those and have them arrived with shards of glass. Is it OK if I send one that isn't mounted?

Would love to have anything you have stitched. I can frame.
