And Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you, too! We're having a green Christmas this year - not in the recycling sense, necessarily, but from the standpoint of ground cover.

I'm baking a loaf of raisin bread and have already prepared the appetizer our niece's Christmas Eve party - that almost didn't happen. She was cleaning house yesterday and somehow dislocated her knee cap! Ouch! I told her house cleaning was detrimental to your health, but she's too much her mother's daughter and had to do it anyway. She's doing much better this morning and the party will go on!

We've already had our family gift exchange, so tomorrow will be a quiet day of family and fellowship.

Best wishes to all - I'll th> Howdy!

Happy Greeting to you too!

I like your pizza idea! We do fresh crab on Christmas Eve - cannot wait for that :-)

Got a quilt all ready to start quilting this weekend. It's for a baby that is due in February. Took a quick trip to the quilt store yesterday to be sure I have enough thread for the quilting. Wouldn't do to run out when the shops are closed.

Hope you all have a wonderful holiday weekend! marcella

I think we just shot a Christmas tradition in the foot. We get tree ornaments that can be opened and tuck tiny gifts inside. Paint the offspring's names on the ornaments and they are always just SO cute. Except this year. We had to scotch tape the train engine back together and the purse ornament ( which is quite adorable) wouldn't hold the little gift so we tied it together with a silk ribbon. Whatever.
