The Brother Embroidery machine that I'm giving Mr. Esther for Christmas arrived yesterday. I have learned how to wind a bobbin and thread it. Naturally, I want to be able to help him to enjoy it. This year I have learned how to operate a stove that can do everything except sweep the front steps, how to use a camera and send pictures, how to survive Vista (though we are not friends) and now the embroidery machine. I'm surely hoping Mr. Esther's gift to me is a tractor and not another shotgun. Merry Christmas to you all, I love you dearly. Polly

Be sure to report in tomorrow so we know what his gift to you is, okay? In the meantime, it's so good to know you are getting to know his embroidery machine. I know that'll add to his enjoyment in using it!

So far we've missed all the awful weather (freezing mix) they predicted for us - it's still above freezing and the streets are just wet. Hopefully it won't get cold enough tonight to ruin all that! Tomorrow we will likely get snow, but there's still a chance of some icy stuff before it starts.

Although we won't have our "official" family Christmas until Sunday when my DB and his family will arrive, those of us who live here in town will get together at our house for soup and snacks and games (for some of the gang, that means watching basketball on TV - for the rest of us, it's probably going to be dominoes).

Merry Christmas to all - may you have a safe and blessed holiday.

Merry Christmas to all! Peace and joy! I'm enjoying my new super-bright daylight lamp. If it didn't have a dimmer, I'd need sunglasses! Roberta in D
