NASCAR fabric

Guess it would help if I could spell my own organization - it really is Project Linus (not Linius)!

I have a family of good friends who are all into Nascar. My friends DIL LOVES Kasey Kahne. I have been searching for a couple of years. CANNOT find it. sorry.

Several Linus coordinators have suggested that we get a Kasey Kahne tshirt and make a tshirt quilt. I don't see why that wouldn't work, especially if we used generic NASCAR fabric along witht the tshirt.

Hey Polly, I've already bought some of the wavy racing black and white checks. Some of it just about makes your eyes cross. We've used it in several Linus blankets.

I love Marshall Dry Goods - I've managed to spend quite a bit of money there.

You could also make pieced alphabet blocks spelling out the driver's name. Or use bubble jet set to print a picture of the driver and car onto plain fabric fro the quilt. Debra in VA See my quilts at

Hi, Googling on Kasey Kahne, I see that his store has throw blankets available. I know it may not be as much fun as designing a new quilt from a t-shirt. However, if you count your labor as worth $$ than it is not much more expensive. YMMV.
