Has any one tried the gizmo that Nancy sells for putting binding on a quilt by machine? Got the new catalog yesterday & it is about $30. Thanks for any advice before I order it.

Nana, I love gadgets and have enough special feet here to shoe a well-dressed caterpillar - but I don't think that gizmo would be worthwhile . . . I just don't think it would be helpful at the corners. ( My beloved quilting friend asked me this afternoon how many corners a quilt has and I told her 5 or 7. ) If the gadget is only good for a long straight run it's not going to be all that great. I don't have one, probably won't and am somewhat reluctant to vote 'no' without giving it a try. IMHO. Polly
