New finds

I went to my LQS yesterday, ostensibly to find a $5 "quilty " gift for an exchange.

They just got in a new line of books and patterns that are so cool.

Anni Downs is the artist, Hatched and Patched is her company and I got the book, "A Christmas Story".

Includes quilts and 11 other projects.

I swear I am going to have that Advent Calendar done by next year. And maybe the 12 days of Christmas wallhanging.

You can see her stuff here

She has a line of patterns called "Simple Stitchings" and I got one of those.

Now if I can get the shop to carry stuff from Cinderberry Stitches, it will be all right.

You Australians are sure a talented bunch.

I also bought another Moda Learn to Sew tin. I bought one for my niece a few weeks ago and decided I needed one for me too.

Got a couple of Christmas ornaments. Quilt blocks on brass squares. They are really cute. I think one of those will be my exchange gift. And one I'll keep.

Lots of good stuff and I just love that book.

Cindy
