Well Dave came and got his truck stuck in the sand just in front of my house. Darrell came home soon after, got the tractor out and helped him get out of his situation. Then everyone came to the table for stew and cornbread.
Next was opening of Christmas gifts. Dave pulled out all his and I had my son retrive Daves to open. Darrell went and got the special one out of the office that I worked hard to finsih before he got here tonight. Dave got me a wonderful cow bank, glass cow on a mirror, cow bell from wiscowsin,a mad cow lighter to go with my udder cow lighter. Some tractor scrapping paper, some wonderful paper/cloth from one of his shows & a fan pull . ALso a ball brayer.... cracking up I said " a bit bigger then what I was used to handling" and hubby and Dave got embarrassed.
Well I got Dave a crate with many things in it. Candy, cookies, chocolate covered pretzels, american TY beanie rooster, 4 rooster mugs filled with goodies, some road ribbon, some curling ribbon...then the gag gift... here ya go Kenda..... pay attention.... I bought Darrell a COW one a few yrs ago.... I bought my BIL one a few yrs back too.... Well chance came and I got Dave a ROOSTER G-STRING...... I wanted him to show his **** to the camera and he refused, and was laughing with embarassment soooo hard. I told him that Darrell showed me his g-string, so I should make sure it fit right? well!!!!!!.... No can do, he won't budge!.
I am posting pictures in my Christmas album of the opening gifts, the rooster g-string, and his special handmade gift. I will get them posted ASAP.
Hope everyone had a good gift exchange as I did.
