Christmas for me

I had a wonderful time at April's, and for the first time got to really spend some great time with Zenda. She is a treasure and y0u ought to hear her sigh, I have never heard a baby do that before, just too cute. Plus she makes all kinds of other sounds too!!

We had a fantaboulus meal and I ate too much. Then did it again on Christmas Day ar her dh's mom's house. We took a drive and saw a HUGE flock of wild turkeys not far from the house and i even saw a buck deer when I left. i was so relaxed and worn out Christmas eve I slept 10 hours.

BUT the BEST and happiest part of my holiday period was reading and receiving the really heartfelt notes from the truly surprised and appreciative people in here. Like so many say, this group is more like family than you can believe!!

Sabrina almost let the cat out of the bag of who the culprit was sending all those really great cards out though!!

The thanks from me to you are more than welcome and again I was so uplifted by your all's utter surprise it totally made MY day all the merrier and I know the REAL REASON of the season!!!

Merry Christmas to US! *sigh* So we are sorting and rooting... and trying to figure out where we are going... Back to Dayton hopefully because that commute sucks... I'm hoping that we can meet again and I can take you to that KILLER LSS here... Simply Scrapbooks... it ROCKS.

LOL... so that would make my moving costs what? 21k ? (Martin would have NO job...)... plus a Uhaul, plus moving the animals....

UGH. I remember my last state to state move.. and it was only one state away!!!

Seriously, if he had a job and we had the money to move there... we probably would, but it would take about 5k to move... Uhauls (2, with tow dollies because we have two cars), and alot of stuff, plus airfare for both and hotels to come out and find job/house to rent. Then packing here and unpacking there... AAAAHHHH!!!!!!!

*faints*

So.... when are you moving to Ohio? LOLOLOL

Glad you had a great holiday Dave and got the chance to spend time with April and her family. I am sure that Zenda would not be objecting to those big hugs from Uncle Dave either. I bet she was not the only one making cute noises......LOL Sounds like you got a well earned rest and a chance to unwind from your busy schedule.....something you soooooo deserve following on from your generous gift-giving!!!!!

Take care, Marilyn
