Dave has been through Arkansas!! He should be home by now, long ago that is! Dave called me last night said he was in Memphis. (he called my cell phone first and since I was at work on the phone talking with DH I ignored the beep (unless it's my kids I don't get off the phone with DH) so he called the house, causing DH to get off the phone with me! LOL) Dave talked with DH a little bit. Introduced himself as his wife's trucker boyfriend! LOL

We decide to meet to go to breakfast this morning. Dave called me when he got into North Little Rock, let me know where he was staying. DH picked me up at work and we picked up Dave went to Cracker Barrel for breakfast. After we visited a while we came back to our house and he got the grand tour of our home. We visited a bit more, but Dave was anxious to get home as he hadn't been home for any length of time in a number of weeks so I took him back to his truck.

It was wonderful to see Dave again. He really wanted to meet up with Deb and M-C. But with only being able to meet on a Sunday morning he knew Deb wouldn't be able to make it. M-C is still feeling under the weather so she wasn't able to make it. Sigh, maybe next time.....

Dave I had a wonderful visit! Glad Alan finally got to meet you! April.....I know about the railroad tracks now!!! HAHAAAAHAAAA!!!!!!!!!! Yes, I had to ask!!! Curosity was getting the better of me! LOL

Kenda, it really was a pleasure to meet your dh and like April, I know WHO the ORNERY and ROUDY one in the family is!!! (hint - THEY are the POSTERS in here!!!)

Kenda I was really emotionally touched by your dining room. Like I said, just like one most of us in here, one that looks or would remind us of grandma's house. So plain, but very rich in history and feeling. I reall LOVED that one quilt and the others too.

For all I sure HOPE she shares when the time is over, she made her dh a very special altered thing for her dh anniversary gift. Kenda it really is pretty! Like so many in here, I do not know where in the dickens you have the time, get the talents to do all that you do!!

MC I sure hope you are feeling better and Deb, dang nad it, I guess some day I will not come thru on Sunday and can meet your DH too!!

Thank you Dave. We have alot of fun in the dining room. It truely is where we connect with each other. I love my chicken quilt the best too Dave! Garish colors, but somehow they seem to work together!

I will be sharing my DH gift with all, however we were sternly told not to post the altered tins until April! I sure hope he likes it. I tried to make it "manly".

Dave I think you will have to be able to hang around a little later. We may be the only ones that get up at 0 dark 30! Thanks for calling me Dave, we really enjoyed the visit.
