I'm so excited. Dave just called me at work. I get to meet him later this evening. I can't wait. And here I was jealous because Linda got to meet him. I guess he tried to email me last week and I missed it. Yeah. I'll report back tomorrow. Now I have to go home after work and get my stuff together. Yikes!

Well, let me say it was so great to finally get to meet someone from the group. Dave is soooooo sweet. Our meeting was only 2 hours but it was well worth it. We meet at his truck and my 2 boys was excited to get to see the inside of a semi. I had never been in one also.
We went to KFC. Had supper. Well, I took my home. I was too busy to eat. I didn't what to get food all over his books. My DH didn't get to go. I have to laugh. I was a little concerned to tell him I was going to meet someone I meet on the internet. Especially a man. I had no worries. He was ok with it. Just told me to be careful. He knows that I always talk about this group. I do wish he could have been there to meet dave. The boys had a great time. Logan, my 9 year old son was really excited when I told him. He was thrilled to meet a boy scrapbooker. He has done some of his own scrapbooking. Tanner was shy at first, but once he got warmed up. He was his self. orney little burger. So Dave got the full affect of my 6 year old.
I took a few pictures, but my computer at home is sick. My lovely MIL had coffee sitting by it and it got knocked over. So now it is dead and we are trying to get it fixed. So hopefully soon I can get them up.
Well, after 2 hours the kids was getting tired. It was 9:00 so we had to say our goodbyes. I wish I was more prepared or I would have made Dave some homemade goodies. Next time. It's always fun to eat out but I don't know he does it all the time. I would get so sick of it.
So thank you again Dave for the nice surpise of coming through Lafayette, IN and stopping to see me. It was great!!! I had a blast.
I'm so glad you got to meet Dave. He is such a great person to get to know, and a great scrapper. He is great with kids, too. LOL When Dave first came to my house, DS (who is usually very shy) immediately was excited and showed Dave his room. LOL
Shannon I am so glad you finally got to meet Dave too! Isn't he lucky that he can get around to meet everyone, and I am sure it makes his traveling much easier to see friends along the way! Linda
