That is gorgeous!! It looks like more work than the original though. You have amazing patience! Have you posted 6 quilts on thequiltshow.com to enter the contest to win a Ricky Tims quilt? The winner is chosen in a drawing, rather than based on quality, which is nice. I am loving looking at all the quilts posted - over 4000 so far.
You could probably hear me mumbling at any time of the day, quilting or not. Actually, I planned it out so that no one color would dominate for any great space on the quilt and yet still show a contrast to the adjacent color. it was more difficult not picking a color than picking one.

Just as beautiful as I expected, John. Kudos!

That is stunning. I just love it!
Fantastic John! What a winner. Did you sew all half triangle squares first?
In the next couple of daysI I will post my Trip Around the World Antique quilt pix. I purchased the completed 1930/40s quilt top and then layered and quilted it. Am just frantically finishing it now.

Yes, I sewed all the triangles myself. I have been quite taken by the
1000 piece quilts of the Victorian era. I plan on doing a series of them in different patterns just to be able to compare them in all their complexity.John
