How 'bout placemats, coasters, table runners? All of those are small and would work up fairly fast. I did lap quilts for the family one year.

The 'Funky Chicken' pincushion might be good. It takes about an hour to make one - maybe less. I can't seem to track down the pattern for you though. I think it was at something like Redd Square. Anyone? Polly

Do you have any web links to any of these that you would recommend? I look at them all of the time, but just don't want to jump into one without knowing that someone else had made it and is happy with the results...especially this late in the game!

Thanks! Dannielle

If you can get a hold of the book called "Kitchen Stitchin" - it's just FULL of beautiful placemats, coasters, table runner and napkin patterns, and they are super easy to make. I've reached for that book again and again when I need something quick...... maybe your library has it???
