Off for a few days

I'm off to the hinterlands of Illinois for the local ASG chapter's semi-annual sewing retreat. Have fun while I'm gone.

The stash has been freshly organized for you raiders. The QI guards can be bribed by sharp cheddar cheese and fresh hamburger. If you take the fabric for the quilt guild's challenge, please return the finished project in time for the October meeting.

I *do* appreciate someone who's organized, Maureen. ;) But is "return" part of a stash raid???

Well, I am unclear on the etiquette of stash raids; but, if it isn't, it should be >g< . In message , Sandy Foster writes

Howdy!

Have a great time. Visit some shops while you're there, bring home some good souvenirs. Hmm..stash raid-- if you were trying to take the fun out of it, forget it. We're coming in, engines roaring, wake the neighbors, bribe them w/ QI cheese & burger, too.

When you get to the retreat, please face north and wave towards Princeton,

54 miles north of Peoria. Sending personal greetings to my mom should substitute for a visit, right? Thanks, Maureen!

We want pictures of your ASG retreat projects.

Ragmop, her sewing room (or should I say sewing suite) is quite lovely. Perhaps we could have a shindig there before we make off with all the fabric? And if we don't get enough in the raid, I'm pretty sure I still remember the way to the closest LQS. *grin*

Howdy~!

Gassing up the Cruiser. I'm sold on Kathy's plan. ;-D

Ragmop/Sandy--did I mention it's 103* F here today?

Hey, it was worth a shot. I can't figure out what I'm going to do with the darn stuff.
