I did realize I was pushing the thought your way, John. ;-P (my dad was a carpenter/cabinet maker, etc; I know "Finished" when I see it ) Your thread cabinet just had to have a base, and while you're building a base why not add more storage? It works! And it's beautiful. Enjoyed the pics of the process. When I was growing up I spent lots of time at the lumber yard w/ Dad; even now when we go to the "home improvement center" I *have* to walk thru' the lumber area to smell the wood; I could smell fresh wood while looking at your cabinet-in-progress pictures. Thank you. ;-) Good craftsmanship will always get my attention, esp. in woodworking.
